June was a busy month for us. We moved into Josh's brother's house in Pleasant Grove to start the month off. This could have been the most stressful thing in the world for me. I like things done right, so I like to do them myself as much as possible. No heavy lifting made it a frustrating experience but thanks to Josh's friends and my family we were able to get everything done. Ask anyone involved this was harder than it sounds. Thanks again to the boys who helped get the furniture for our bedroom in through the windows, they wouldn't fit up the old narrow winding stairway. Older homes were definitely not made for large beds and furniture. My mom and Aunt helped get the house all clean with me which was a HUGE job so thank you again so much.

Josh's sister is living in Port Angeles, WA now so we also got to spend some time with his sister Katie, her husband Andrew, and Josh's brother Kenn. Josh went up to Port Angeles and then they came down to Seattle for the baby shower that was thrown for my sister Savannah and I. Kim gave the shower the same week as her son's graduation. The day after his graduation BBQ, actually. So much work for her but we really appreciated all the stress and hard work, not to mention extravagent gifts. Thanks again Kim.

It was a lot of fun. We also went to Pikes with Josh's family and mine. Went to the Fisherman's Terminal to see the memorial, the Locks and the fish ladder, the guys went to a Mariners game, a day at the beach in Edmonds, and Josh even went to a store with just hot sauce. It was a busy family filled week and we loved every minute of it. And came home laden with baby gifts and Josh's first Father's Day gifts.
We were at my Great Aunt Dody's house and she offered everyone chocolate cake and coffee. Josh had coffee and informed everyone I wasn't allowed to have coffee (according to Daddy Josh's baby health info) and that if I eat too much chocolate our baby will have baby acne! He is too much. He also "allowed" me to have fish three times on this trip, as a "treat" and was told when we got home that I needed to watch it and can't be eating the trout he brings home. "That was because you love it and look forward to it every year. You can't be eating fish once a week. You need to watch how much mercury you are exposing
my baby to." Though I do appreciate he is the involved type of daddy who cares I do find myself wishing he wasn't the self proclaimed expert on baby matters. Especially since he makes up his own rules that you will not find in any medical documentation of any sort.
It's crazy to think. Next trip to Seattle we'll have a little girl with us. Life is changing quickly.
